Dietary Aide Cook

Belleview Valley Nursing Home is seeking a full-time Dietary Cooks and Aides to join our small kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness. This role involves working with commercial ovens, stoves, and standard kitchen appliances, with limited interaction with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and meal plans
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Operate and maintain commercial cooking equipment
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of cooking experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of food safety handling and sanitation standards
• Familiarity with various cooking methods
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
