Lab Assistant

The Lab Assistant will support clinical laboratory operations by performing sample collection, equipment maintenance, and laboratory preparation under moderate supervision. This role ensures quality control, safety compliance, and efficient inventory management during standard business hours, with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and handle clinical samples accurately and safely
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Prepare laboratory workspaces and materials for daily operations
• Manage inventory and reorder supplies as needed
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols
• Handle and process specimens following established guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in laboratory assistance
• Associate degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and practices
• Experience with microscopy and sample handling techniques
• Proficient in data entry and equipment calibration
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
