Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN – Texas
Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Brownsville, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift with on-call rotation; every other weekend and every other weeknight on call; 30-minute callback response time required
Highlights:
- 2-bed Cath Lab performing coronary and peripheral interventions, EP procedures, and structural heart cases
- 1:1 patient ratios with collaborative team of monitor techs, RNs, and specialized technicians
- Advanced equipment including IABP, Impella, IVUS, FFR, and ultrasound technology
- Diverse case mix: heart caths, interventions, pacemakers, AICDs, Watchman devices, EP ablations, and peripheral vascular procedures
- Meditech EMR system
- Cross-training opportunities in IR, ICU, and Pre/Post PACU with competency validation
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Current ACLS certification required
- Interventional Cath Lab experience (both peripheral and coronary) is mandatory
- IABP and Impella experience required
- EP experience strongly preferred
