JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care to clients in the Carmel, NY area. This role involves traveling to patients’ homes and assisting with daily living activities to support their comfort, safety, and independence.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Travel to clients’ homes to provide personalized, in-home care
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Mobility support and transferring

-Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
-Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, organizing)
-Monitor and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition
-Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
-Assist with errands such as grocery shopping or prescription pick-up
-Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
-Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or --Personal Care Assistant
certified home health aide
-Ability to travel locally to patient homes (reliable transportation required)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
-Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting or transferring patients
-Basic understanding of patient care and safety practices
