We are looking for an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to support business process evaluation, requirements definition, and solution planning in St. Paul, Minnesota. This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into clear recommendations that improve efficiency and support project delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate current business workflows, uncover process gaps, and recommend practical improvements that increase effectiveness and streamline operations.
• Gather, document, and refine business needs by working closely with stakeholders across teams to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and actionable.
• Assess the downstream impact of proposed changes, enhancements, and new features on related functions, systems, and business activities.
• Facilitate discussions, workshops, and working sessions with varied audiences to resolve questions, align expectations, and drive agreement on requirements.
• Manage several assignments simultaneously while maintaining priorities, timelines, and quality standards across projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Produce and maintain business analysis documentation, including process maps, requirement artifacts, and supporting materials for project teams and leadership.
• Partner with project and delivery teams in Agile or PMO-driven environments to support planning, execution, and ongoing process improvement efforts.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps to track work, communicate progress, and support collaboration across teams.• Demonstrated experience in business analysis with a strong grasp of established methods, tools, and best practices.
• Ability to break down complex business issues, apply sound judgment, and develop effective, solution-oriented recommendations.
• Proven skill in analyzing detailed business processes and identifying opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
• Experience handling multiple concurrent projects or workstreams with competing deadlines and changing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio, as well as collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to build productive cross-functional partnerships and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Adaptability, professionalism, and a continuous improvement mindset in dynamic business environments.
