Job Opportunity – Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – West Virginia
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 Days (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8 (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) as needed; on-call rotation includes 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, with holiday coverage
Highlights:
- 13-week travel contract with potential for extension
- Diverse case mix including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, plus endovascular peripheral interventions
- Work with advanced equipment including Siemens technology and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Exposure to specialized procedures such as IABP, Impella insertion, rotablader atherectomy, and vascular closure systems
- Cerner EMR system with PACS integration
- Scrubs provided by facility
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (R) registration required; ARRT (CI) preferred
- West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiologic Technology License required (may submit with license pending)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1.5-2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Travel experience required
- Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings required
- Proficiency with cardiac stent placement, PCI/PTCA, hemodynamic monitoring, and life-threatening arrhythmia recognition
- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility
- Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from past 2 years
