Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position located in Towson, Maryland. This role involves performing various nuclear medicine procedures, including stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, and other specialty imaging using GE equipment. Candidates are required to bring their licensing on the first day. The position requires working within standard hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional on-call duties.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 5x8 Day shift, 07:30-16:00, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license for Maryland or a Compact license, ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist (N), ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification, and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment, prior work in a hospital setting, experience with interpreting interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and unit secretary support.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The position involves performing high load outpatient and inpatient nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope, providing independent work, and adhering to scheduled procedures.
