Pay Rate: $70 per hour + $1,246 travel stipends (if applicable)
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Regular clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, Pacific Time.
Contract: 1 year with the option to extend / 1099 contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacist to join the Warm Springs Service Unit in Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment providing essential pharmacy services, medication management, and patient counseling while supporting the health needs of the community.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program or school
- Current, active, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the United States
- Current CPR/BLS
- Certification of Immunization
- Certification of Education
- Liability Insurance
- Experience with pharmacy systems such as RPMS, EHR, ScriptPro, or similar preferred
Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions with a high level of accuracy and compliance
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, storage, side effects, and precautions
- Support daily pharmacy operations and collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within RPMS, EHR, ScriptPro, or related systems
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and IHS pharmacy regulations and standards
- Assist with immunizations and blood pressure screenings in accordance with facility policies
- Help maintain safe medication storage, handling, and inventory practices
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care while promoting medication safety and effectiveness
