Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a NC or compact RN license and one year of nursing experience.

Details\n

\n
• 16-bed adult ICU setting managing critical illness, ventilator management, and post-op patients
\n
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 with average length of stay of 3-7 days
\n
• Rotating day and night shift schedule
\n
• 36 hours per week at 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
\n
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
\n
• May be scheduled for holidays based on facility need
\n
• Can be placed on standby call once per pay period
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license in North Carolina (NC or compact) required
\n
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
\n
• ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI-B certifications required
\n
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
\n
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required
\n
• BSN or MSN preferred
\n
