Overview

Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Supervise and guide ancillary staff as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active Iowa RN License
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment

Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
