Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Neuro PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Provide high-quality care to a mixed acuity patient population, including neurology and neurosurgery cases.
  • \n
  • Monitor and manage up to six medical-surgical patients, adapting care as required by acuity level.
  • \n
  • Administer and manage various drips and infusions, including insulin and heparin protocols.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNAs, LPNs, and care techs.
  • \n
  • Adapt to frequent floating as required by staffing needs across multiple units.
  • \n
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and timely using EPIC charting systems.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Current RN license to practice in the state of Nebraska or pending license accepted with specific conditions.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a large urban hospital setting, with Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.
  • \n
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
  • \n
  • Experience with various pharmaceutical drips and managing high acuity patients.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting system is mandatory.
  • \n
  • Commitment to working in a smoke-free facility and complying with hospital-specific presentation requirements.
