Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist

Location: Anacortes, WA

Department/Unit: Radiology

Salary Range: $60,000 to $120,000 Per Year

Shift: 8 Hour Variable

Position Summary:

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team in Anacortes, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing imaging studies with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Department Overview:

• Scanners/Radiology Rooms: 1 CT scanner
• Imaging Responsibilities: Covers both CT and X-ray during graveyard shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures for trauma, stroke, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients.
• Conduct a variety of imaging studies, averaging 60-80 scans per day.
• Start IVs as needed for contrast administration.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Meditech EMR system.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current state radiology license

Experience and Skills:

• Preferred experience with trauma and stroke patients.
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment.
• Previous experience with PACS software and hardware is a plus (currently using Meditech, transitioning to Phillips).

Additional Information:

• A lead technologist will oversee the department during the day shift.
• Radiologists are available on-call, with in-house coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) are utilized in this department.
