New York Mid Level Associates: Medical malpractice and professional liability work-
(lower Manhattan-hybrid)

Our client is seeking two Mid-Level Associates to join their New York office. This
opportunity is ideal for attorneys with 3–6 years of experience looking to work on a mix of
Medical Malpractice and Professional Liability matters within a collaborative and growing
litigation team.
Responsibilities:
• Handle a variety of medical malpractice and professional liability defense matters
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery,
depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, reports, and other litigation-related
documents
• Attend court appearances, depositions, and client meetings
• Work closely with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management
• Maintain strong communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in New York
• 3–6 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to medical malpractice and/or
professional liability matters
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
Compensation:
• Competitive compensation structure with base salaries up to $150,000 for attorneys
admitted in 2020 and earlier
