Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and organized Outpatient Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing medical records, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to make a positive impact on patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient appointments and ensure timely scheduling
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth delivery of patient care
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

Required License(s)/Certification(s):

Education/Experience/Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and electronic medical records
