About the Role

As a Superintendent, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will oversee on-site construction, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, disciplined, and eager to learn and grow within an employee-owned company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of on-site construction for assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, updating them regularly throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, self-performed work, and multi-prime contractors.
  • Maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and contractors.
  • Review and process requests for clarifications and shop drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Track project costs and maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and as-built drawings.
  • Assist Project Managers with change orders, estimating, and project financials.
  • Take a leadership role in implementing and enforcing project and company safety plans.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and ensure that progress photos and daily reports are completed promptly.
  • Maintain accurate project records and reports for review by internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial or public works construction (preferred).
    • Public Works: Municipal Buildings, DSA, Schools, Modernizations, K-12, Higher Education, etc.
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices.
  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore and MS Project is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
    • Good judgment and a proactive mindset.
