Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a short-term acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

  • Labor & Delivery unit in a 109-bed short-term acute care hospital
  • Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call required during low census periods — approximately one on-call shift per pay period
  • Staffing ratios follow AWHONN standards
  • Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)
  • Scrubs are provided for this unit
  • No floating between units within this specific unit assignment; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active Oregon RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
  • Requested time off (RTO) should be minimal — any RTO must be disclosed at the time of submission, as requests made after submission or offer may be denied
