Job Summary:
The position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Lafayette, Colorado. This role involves providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The technologist will assist physicians, operate imaging equipment, and support patient care under supervision. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Lafayette, Colorado
- Schedule: 10-hour days, on-call weekdays and weekends, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Registered ARRT (Radiography, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, or Vascular Interventional Radiography) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) required within 18 months of hire; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association); fluoroscopy certification; radiation badge provided by the vendor
- Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree; two (2) years of experience in Cardiology or Cath Lab preferred
- Additional Information: The role requires skills in technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, patient care, radiological imaging, scrub assistance, sterile technique, imaging equipment operation, procedure documentation, patient and family education, stock management, quality improvement, patient safety, and hazard identification. Experience in cardiology/Cath lab preferred.
- Certifications & Licenses: Valid ARRT certification or RCIS, BLS, ACLS, fluoroscopy certification, radiation badge supplied by vendor.
