Order Puller - Night Shift

THIS IS NOT A GENERAL WAREHOUSE POSITION.

We are currently hiring experienced Order Pullers with a strong background in steel manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial production environments. Candidates must have recent hands-on experience handling steel materials and must be able to accurately read a tape measure.

Applicants with only distribution center, shipping/receiving, Amazon, or general warehouse experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, and prepare steel materials based on work orders and production schedules
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move sheet, plate, bar, tube, and coil steel
• Accurately read and use a tape measure to verify steel dimensions and specifications
• Band, bundle, and prepare steel materials for shipping or fabrication processes
• Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners, logs, or ERP systems
• Follow all workplace safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in steel manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial production
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure — this is required
• Experience handling raw steel materials such as sheet, plate, tubing, or structural steel
• Forklift experience required; certification is a plus
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and production accuracy
