Litigation Attorney (Specialty Lines Defense)

Lateral Partner/Senior Associate Attorney – Specialty Lines Defense

We are seeking a lateral partner or 5–7 year associate attorney based in Northwest Indiana or Illinois with substantial experience handling Directors & Officers (D&O) and/or Errors & Omissions (E&O) matters.

The ideal candidate will manage a varied caseload of specialty line matters, including D&O, E&O and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims, as well as complex and high-exposure defense litigation involving personal injury and construction defect claims.

Candidates should possess strong litigation, case management and client communication skills, with the ability to independently manage files and work collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant litigation experience or established portable practice
• Significant experience handling D&O and/or E&O matters
• Experience with EPL and complex casualty defense matters preferred
• Illinois and Indiana licensure preferred
• Substantial coverage experience is a plus
• A portable, sustainable defense business is a plus for partner-level candidates
