Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patrons, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss concerns, and report findings through proper channels.
• Support opening, closing, and after-hours security-related activities, including checking access points, observing delivery areas, and assisting with crowd and/or queue management during busy periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
