Travel ST-CVOR jobs in Glendale, CA let you assist cardiovascular surgeons in a modern hospital setting at the facility, supporting open and closed heart procedures. You will prepare the operating room, maintain sterile environments, ensure equipment functionality, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures. Documentation is completed using Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least one year of recent CVOR surgical technologist experience. Experience with Cerner EMR systems is important. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or nationally recognized equivalent certification is preferred 1. Recommended skills include strong critical thinking, service excellence, and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team. Physical ability to move equipment and maintain focus under pressure is needed 1.
