Join the team at the Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and help support older adults in your community by ensuring they receive the nutritious meals they depend on. As a Part-Time, Substitute Meal Transporter, you will play an essential role in promoting independence, health, and connection for the seniors we serve. This role is perfect for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and enjoys being out on the road. Your deliveries help ensure older adults can remain safe, nourished, and independent at home.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Part-time, substitute employment.
• The selected candidate will train for six full weeks. Upon successful completion of training, candidate will be on-call as needed.
• Note: Selected candidate must use their own personal vehicle to deliver meals to eligible seniors in Lebanon County.
• Work hours are approximately 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Hours are subject to change depending on weather, route, driving conditions, or other factors.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: $13.25 + Mileage. In addition to the hourly rate, selected candidate will receive the current IRS mileage rate. In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months of experience which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

• Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Lebanon County. If no eligible candidates who live within Lebanon County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
