Are you a construction laborer looking for a long-term home with a top-tier construction firm in Pittsburgh? We are currently seeking reliable Construction Laborers for Temporary and Temp-to-Hire, full-time positions in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. This is a unique opportunity to show off your positive attitude and carpentry skillset in order to transition into a permanent role with our customers.

Role Details

• Status: Temporary and Temp-to-Hire (Opportunity to transition to permanent role after 6 months)
• Location: Various Residential, Commercial, and Industrial project sites across the Greater Pittsburgh area
• Pay Rate: Up to $18 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week) with potential for overtime

Key Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with daily tasks
• Perform site preparation and cleanup, including removing debris and potential hazards
• Load, unload, and distribute building materials and tools to appropriate work areas
• Operate hand and power tools such as jackhammers, saws, drills, and shovels
• Dig Trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction
• Help assemble or dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding and bracing

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior construction or manual labor experience is preferred but not always required

Requirements

• Reliable Transportation to local job sites
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and a strong commitment to job site safety
• Must proper PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, work gloves)
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working from heights
