Job Description
Adecco is recruiting for a Screw Machine Operator for a client in Syracuse, NY. This position is temp-to-hire, paying $21–28/hour DOE.
This role supports production on multi-spindle screw machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate screw machines and monitor production runs
Perform basic adjustments and ensure part quality
Use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
Identify and report machine or quality issues
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
Previous hands-on machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment
Multi-spindle screw machine experience such as Davenport or Acme-Gridley is preferred
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Basic understanding of measurements and blueprints a plus
Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
