Job description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Director to lead and support our growing clinical team. This is a full-time, on-site leadership opportunity ideal for a clinician who enjoys program development, team leadership, and hands-on involvement in patient care within a recovery-focused setting. The Clinical Director will oversee all clinical operations, supervise multidisciplinary staff, implement treatment systems and workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and help expand the facility's clinical programming as the organization continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all treatment services within the facility.
Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary clinical team including:
LMSW
Case Manager
Peer Recovery Specialist
Addictions Counselor
Develop, implement, and maintain clinical systems, workflows, documentation standards, and treatment protocols.
Conduct clinical assessments and oversee individualized treatment planning for clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, relapse prevention planning, and case management services.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health field required.
Active Idaho licensure preferred: LCSW, LCPC, LMFT or equivalent behavioral health licensure
Minimum experience in substance abuse treatment and dual-diagnosis care required.
Previous leadership, management, or clinical supervision experience preferred.
Strong understanding of:
Treatment planning
Relapse prevention
Trauma-informed care
Case management
Clinical documentation
Experience in residential treatment settings highly preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work empathetically while maintaining professional boundaries and a non-judgmental approach with clients.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
