Reach Truck Operator

Diversified is seeking A Material Handler/Stand-Up Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility in Midlothian, Tx .

Pay: $19/hr

Schedule: 6am-3:30pm

Job Summary

Safely operates motorized equipment to move, stack, and load products, often using RF scanners to maintain inventory accuracy. Loading/unloading trailers, scanning, auditing inventory, and conducting safety checks on equipment. The role requires operating machinery in tight spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs, and ensuring warehouse safety.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift Operation: Operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or sit-down trucks to transport goods between loading docks, storage areas, and production lines.

Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trailers and containers, often using RF scanners to verify, track, and scan incoming/outgoing inventory.

Inventory Control: Perform accurate inventory counts, cycle counts, and properly place materials in assigned storage locations.

Material Prep: Pick customer orders, hand-stack, and wrap pallets for safe transportation.

Safety & Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections, report damage, change propane tanks or charge electric forklifts, and maintain a clean work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts or similar Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Certification: Valid forklift operator certification is generally required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varied temperatures.

Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
