2nd Shift CNC Machinists (Milling & Grinding | Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM | $26.00 – $34.00/hour + 15% shift differential | Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k) with match

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinists with experience in milling and/or grinding and/or turning to join our team in a high-precision, aerospace manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment, maintaining tight tolerances, and ensuring quality standards are met across a variety of complex parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling and/or grinding machines with minimal supervision

  • Perform job changeovers, tool changes, and make program or offset adjustments as needed

  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to ensure parts meet specifications

  • Machine a variety of metals (stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, etc.) to tight tolerances (±.001)

  • Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators, etc.) to verify dimensions

  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards

  • Operate multiple machines simultaneously where required

  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

  • Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience (milling and/or grinding preferred)

  • Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment strongly preferred

  • Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC machines

  • Familiarity with FANUC or similar CNC controls

  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading

  • Experience with machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
