American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient sonography position requiring dual ECHO and Vascular registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details- Outpatient cardiology/vascular ultrasound setting
- Procedures include abdominal aorta, aortic studies, arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower and upper extremity arterial and venous studies, M-mode, renal artery duplex, and transcranial Doppler
- Adult patient population
- Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS
- EMR is Epic; experience is mandatory
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
- Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI; either RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS credentials required
- Candidates with only RVS certification and Echo experience will also be considered
- Adult echocardiography and vascular experience required
- Proficiency with Philips ultrasound systems and PACS
- Epic EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- A Pass/Fail EKG exam is required during compliance; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
