Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for an outpatient/retail pharmacy assignment. The pharmacist will provide medication management, patient counseling, prescription verification, and pharmacy support across multiple outpatient pharmacy locations.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
- 4x10-hour shifts weekly, including some Saturdays
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions
- Dispense medications accurately and safely
- Counsel patients on medication usage and side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare providers regarding medication therapy
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation in Epic
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
- Float to additional outpatient pharmacy locations as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Pharmacist experience
- Active Pharmacist license required
- BLS Certification required
- Epic experience preferred
- Retail or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
Facility Details:
- Trauma Level III facility
- On-campus outpatient pharmacy
- Additional off-site pharmacy locations within 5 miles
- Grocery store pharmacy coverage may be required
- Travelers scheduled in advance across locations .
