Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible for providing high-quality care to surgical patients, demonstrating strong skills in scrub experience and trauma room procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a Level 1 trauma center operating room setting.
• Assist in complex procedures including DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck surgeries, neuro spine cases, and exploratory laparotomy cases.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to OR protocols and standards.
• Float to all operating rooms as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of OR experience with level 1 trauma.
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotic surgeries and neuro spine operations.
• KS RN license and AHA BLS certification required.
• On-call duties up to 6 times per 13-week contract and holiday work if it falls on a scheduled day.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
