Job Description:
This position requires a Travel RN in the CVOR unit to manage patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, providing critical care support during cardiovascular surgeries.
Responsibilities:
- Perform large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and skin assessment
- Assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement
- Transport patients to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
- Work independently and communicate effectively with the interdepartmental team
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Critical Care experience required; PreOp experience a plus
- Advanced skills in ACLS, and excellent documentation abilities
- Good critical thinking skills
- Scheduling requirements: M-F 0500-1330; On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/week
