• Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients within the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor EKG rhythms, identify arrhythmias, and manage non-titrating cardiac drips.
• Administer advanced medication infusions, including non-acute cardiac medications, with appropriate titration and weaning.
• Perform neurological assessments and care for stroke (AIS/TIA) patients.
• Conduct pre- and post-procedure evaluations and patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care during night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state registered nurse license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts including weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification preferred.
• Experience with EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring.
• Knowledge of advanced medication infusions such as Tenecteplase, Insulin, Neosynephrine, and Nipride.
• Experience in acute medical or surgical units, neurological assessments, and stroke care.

Additional Requirements

• Travelers must have at least 1 year of nursing experience in similar settings.
• No local candidates within a 75-mile radius; travelers only.
• Must have a valid license in hand at the time of submission, with proper compliance and documentation.
• Candidates will float within the hospital and affiliate facilities as needed.
• Completion of required modules and certifications prior to the start date.
