This SNF setting focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall independence following illness, injury, surgery, or hospitalization. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary rehab team treating a primarily geriatric patient population.
Typical caseload may include:
- Orthopedic recovery
- Stroke/CVA rehab
- Balance and fall prevention
- General debility
- Post-surgical rehab
- Gait training and strengthening
