Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in a stroke-certified healthcare facility. This role involves providing technical and patient care support during procedures, communicating with physicians, operating equipment safely, and ensuring readiness of the procedure room. The assignment is scheduled for 13 weeks, with a focus on supporting the Cardiac Cath Lab team in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Onboarding details indicate a stroke-certified facility, with shift times from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification valid for Cath Lab procedures; minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting; current licensure or registration as a technologist; ability to work the specified schedule; location requirements as indicated.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a stroke-certified facility; strong communication skills; ability to operate all laboratory equipment safely; participation in performance improvement activities.
- Additional Information: The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for providing technical and patient support during procedures, including communication with physicians about patient conditions and the operation of all equipment. They assist during procedures, assess equipment readiness, and procure supplies to meet all procedural needs. Continuous communication with the physician is essential to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
