Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Correctional Center - Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: LPN – Correctional Center
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Rate: Up to $1625.00 weekly + benefits from day 1
Shift: 12-hour night shift
Contract: 8 weeks

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.

Licenses/Certifications:
Active license in the state of employment.
Must maintain current BLS certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a correctional setting using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Collaborate with charge nurses and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient education and care planning within scope of practice.
• Maintain safety and security standards within the correctional facility environment.
