Job Description
CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology, Kodiak, Alaska, United States. Start date 06/29/2026. Travel assignment expected to run for approximately 2 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,462–$2,658 per week. Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per two weeks. Shift: 4x10-hour nights (6:00 PM–4:00 AM). Setting includes acute care medical center with long-term care and outpatient services.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging with and without contrast across head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, including CTA studies and brain perfusion as needed.
- Operate Philips 64-slice Brilliance CT; prepare and administer contrast, monitor patients, and ensure radiation safety; perform venipuncture for contrast administration when required.
- Create and evaluate CT images; perform 3D rendering/MPR/volume rendering as appropriate; document studies in the PACS and Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with radiology team to optimize protocols, quality control, and patient care; adapt to adult, pediatric, and trauma/ED imaging needs.
- Exercise scope of practice for cross-training to X-ray as needed; participate in on-call and weekend coverage.
- Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with equipment readiness and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT-CT required; BLS required. May require ARRT-R or ARRT-Xray if floating to X-ray; confirm with the recruiter.
- Experience: 0–1 year CT technologist experience; first-time travelers accepted; travel experience not required.
- References: Two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years, to be provided during compliance.
- Charting: Epic experience preferred; ability to document exams accurately in Epic.
- Licensure: Licensure status noted in compliance notes; verify whether active or pending per guidance before submittal.
- General: Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting with potential float to X-ray; willingness to work nights, weekends, and two of the three major holidays.
