**Job Description**
This is a data center entry-level role that is well-suited for candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, retail backroom operations, or material handling who are interested in supporting a mission-critical data center environment. You will work closely with facilities teams, vendors, and internal partners to help ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
**Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Manage inbound and outbound shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements for data center facility operations.
+ Receive, inspect, log, and route incoming materials, tools, parts, and packages in accordance with site procedures.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records for critical spare parts, tools, consumables, and facility equipment.
+ Coordinate material staging, storage, and distribution to support preventive maintenance, repairs, and project execution.
+ Partner with site operations, vendors, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials and resolve logistics issues.
+ Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or risks, and escalate replenishment needs for business-critical items.
+ Ensure storage areas, cages, and inventory locations remain organized, secure, and audit-ready.
+ Support shipping, receiving, asset tracking, documentation, and chain-of-custody processes in accordance with site standards.
+ Maintain compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures related to material handling and site logistics.
+ Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, reconciliation activities, and basic reporting related to materials and supplies.
+ Help maintain clean, orderly, and well-labeled storage and receiving areas to support safe and efficient operations.
**Ideal Candidate Profile**
+ Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, retail inventory, stockroom operations, or material coordination in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.
+ Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations teams, vendors, and supply chain partners.
+ Experience supporting technical, industrial, facilities, manufacturing, transportation, distribution, or mission-critical environments is preferred but not required.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or related certifications are a plus.
**Skills and Competencies**
+ Strong organizational and inventory management skills with a high degree of accuracy.
+ Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and respond quickly to urgent operational needs.
+ Clear communicator who can work effectively with technicians, site leadership, and external vendors.
+ Familiarity with shipping, receiving, asset tracking, or inventory management systems.
+ Commitment to process discipline, safety, and operational excellence.
+ Reliable follow-through and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred Skills / Certifications**
+ Experience using inventory systems, handheld scanners, receiving logs, warehouse tools, ticketing systems, or basic ERP/platform tools.
+ Familiarity with shipping, receiving, stockroom organization, cycle counting, material staging, or order fulfillment.
+ Experience in environments such as Walmart, FedEx, UPS, Amazon, distribution centers, warehouses, retail backroom operations, manufacturing sites, or facilities support operations.
+ Exposure to chain-of-custody documentation, audit-ready recordkeeping, or compliance-sensitive inventory handling is a plus.
+ Forklift certification or other material-handling equipment certification is a plus where applicable.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office or similar tools for tracking, reporting, and communication is preferred.
**Physical Demands / Work Environment**
This is an onsite role supporting a mission-critical data center environment where regular attendance, responsiveness, and execution discipline are essential. To perform these duties, you must be able to frequently walk, stand, bend, lift, carry, push/pull objects, and move throughout an operational campus environment. You may be required to lift or move packages and materials as part of shipping, receiving, inventory, and site-support activities. These tasks are performed in a professional and industrial setting and must be executed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, to support the ongoing health and readiness of site operations.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
