The Role

We are seeking a reliable Scrub Technician to support our surgical teams across a wide range of specialties, including Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, GI, General Surgery, and Podiatry. You will be responsible for maintaining the sterile field and anticipating the needs of our surgeons to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Certification: MUST HAVE a Certificate in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.
• Experience: MUST HAVE prior Operating Room experience (ASC experience preferred).
• Skills: Expert knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and room turnover.
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Key Responsibilities

• Surgical Support: Function as the primary scrub person, passing instruments and supplies with precision and anticipating surgeon needs.
• Sterile Field Management: Maintain and monitor the sterile field to the highest aseptic standards.
• Turnover & Prep: Efficiently set up for cases using physician preference cards and assist in rapid room turnover.
• Safety: Conduct meticulous counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments with the circulator and participate in all "time-out" protocols.
