Construction Labor - Drop Bury Tech

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fiber Drop Bury Technician to join our telecommunications team. This is a great opportunity to have steady work, a great paycheck, and an amazing team to work with. We are also looking for someone separate who has experience drilling under driveways and has the tools and capability to do so.

This is a contract / 1099 position that pays based on the number of drops completed each day. The opportunity can pay up to $400+ per day!

Responsibilities:

• Trench a 10” deep line trough customers yards from pedestal to NID (box on the house).
• Confirm that the fiber or coax cable is buried 10” the whole way (A Quality Control Tech WILL confirm the depth).
• Confirm the fiber is installed properly according to industry standards
• Take and send all required pictures to your Project Manager and make sure customers yards are returned to the same state as when you showed up.
• Make sure service loops are taped or zip tied and look nice and neat.
• Great customer service communication skills are a MUST and the ability to learn fast and follow directions when given.

Qualifications:

• No experience needed (we will train the right person) If you have experience burying drops we are looking for a lead/training individual.
• Must have a reliable vehicle (truck or SUV preferred, cell phone that can take good quality photos and works on a plan, good communication skills, able to work 5-6 days a week (Monday-Friday/Saturday).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively.
