We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing and warehouse operations at our Geneva, IL facility. This leadership role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating plant operations while ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, logistics, scheduling, purchasing, and warehouse activities
  • Develop and implement operational plans to maximize labor, materials, and equipment efficiency
  • Manage plant budgets, financial performance, and cost control initiatives with full P&L responsibility
  • Create and maintain production schedules and inventory controls for raw materials and finished goods
  • Drive LEAN Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the facility
  • Review and approve production plans, capital projects, engineering changes, and equipment upgrades
  • Develop equipment maintenance schedules and oversee facility improvements
  • Establish and enforce quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees and leadership staff
  • Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and employee growth
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and leadership teams to support business objectives
  • Coordinate employee engagement and facility-level workforce events

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or plant management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience managing budgets, production planning, and operational performance
  • Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles required
  • Green Belt certification is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials management, scheduling, and quality systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Ability to work in both plant and office environments
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including possible international travel
