Job DescriptionCompany Description
The HVAC Lead Installer plays a critical role in managing and executing the installation of residential and commercial HVAC systems. Leading a small team of 1-3 installers, this position ensures quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction while coordinating all phases of HVAC system installation and testing.
Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC installation projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and lead a small installation team
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards on job sites
- Interact professionally with customers to address concerns and provide updates
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage materials and resources to support installation activities
- Adhere to regional travel requirements for site visits
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation
- Technical certification in HVAC or related field
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Proficient in HVAC system installation, including residential and commercial units
- Skilled in blueprint reading and electrical systems knowledge
- Skilled in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal duct work
- Strong understanding of safety standards compliance
- Effective problem-solving and team leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Customer service oriented
