About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced CDL A drivers for a temp-to-perm position delivering hardware supplies throughout the region. This local driving role focuses on safe, efficient deliveries with driver-unload responsibilities.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $346.15 per day, with annual earnings of approximately $90,000
• $5,000 sign-on bonus
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: Between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Hardware supplies
• Equipment: Automatic Freightliner with a 20- to 53-foot trailer
• Handling: Driver unload
• Stops: 8 to 10 stops per day
• Delivery area: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine
• Hazmat certification required
• Training location: Rome, New York

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
• Transport and deliver hardware supplies throughout the assigned service area
• Unload freight at customer locations
• Complete approximately 8 to 10 deliveries each day
• Follow all applicable safety, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
• Maintain a professional and service-focused approach with customers

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Hazmat endorsement required
