Pharmacy Technician - 2nd Shift

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We’re hiring an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a long-term opportunity within a high-volume specialty and mail order pharmacy environment in Indianapolis area near the airport. This position offers stable weekday scheduling, strong long-term potential, and intent for direct hire for reliable candidates who thrive in fast-paced pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations in a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy setting
• Accurately process prescriptions and assist with medication fulfillment workflows
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment
• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure timely order processing
• Follow all state and federal pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
• Assist with workflow coverage as business needs require

Requirements

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum 2+ years of current or very recent pharmacy technician experience
• Recent high-volume retail pharmacy or high-volume mail order pharmacy experience required
• Strong reliability, attendance, and work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Flexible to begin on day shift before transitioning to evenings

Assignment Details

• 6-month contract with intent for direct hire
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 2nd shift: 12:30pm – 9:00pm
• Possible weekend coverage as needed
• Initial training/onboarding on day shift (8:00am – 5:00pm) before moving to evenings
