Our client, an International Manufacturing company, has a Controller opening! This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting for multiple entities, budgeting support, consolidations, and foreign currency activities while leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

·      Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for three entities

·      Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and account reconciliations

·      Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial statements

·      Prepare timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting

·      Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes

·      Perform budget-to-actual analysis and provide financial insights to leadership

·      Manage consolidations across multiple entities

·      Oversee foreign currency exchange accounting and related transactions

·      Calculate and maintain overhead and labor rates within the manufacturing environment

·      Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and operational performance metrics

·      Assist with cash flow management and financial planning activities

·      Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies 

Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

·      CPA or CMA designation preferred

·      Experience within a mid-size to large size manufacturing company required

·      International accounting experience preferred

·      Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

·      ERP system experience required

·      Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

·      Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

·      Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic environment
