Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia


Job Details:

  • Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients

  • Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure

  • Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures

  • Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process

  • Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams

  • Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)

  • Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards

  • 32-40 hours per week with shifts of 8 or 10 hours; must have availability on either Monday or Friday every week

  • No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)

  • Level II Trauma Center setting with a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases

  • Work alongside a team across multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on need

  • Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed

  • Board Certified CRNA with active Michigan license required

  • Minimum of 1 year CRNA experience required

  • ACLS, BLS (AHA), and PALS certifications required
