Custodial Supervisor PT Salamanca/Olean

Responsibilities and Illustrative Duties:
1. Promotes ergonomic work methods and a safe working environment.
2. Maintains schedule for janitor(s) to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
3. Ensures adequate inventory of paper, chemical and equipment inventory.
4. Verifies time record(s), training(s) and site documentation is processed.
5. Performs inspection levels and frequencies to ensure quality standards.
6. Conducts direct tasks, floor resurfacing and carpet shampooing/extraction.
7. Interacts with coworkers and customer(s) with a responsible positive approach.
8. Flexible to fill open shifts onsite or alternate locations as needed.
9. Transports janitors, supplies and equipment.
10. Other permanent or temporary responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge: Standard cleaning techniques for all aspects of
the field, with proper and up to date floor resurfacing techniques. Basic
understanding of OSHA requirements and SDS sheets.

Qualifications: High School or GED preferred PLUS two (2) years’ experience
in the janitorial field AND NYS driver’s license with acceptable driving record
within Agency criteria.
