What You’ll Do

As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting individuals with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Providing compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Helping individuals participate in community activities and fostering social inclusion.
• Supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting self-advocacy.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a caring and motivated individual who meets the following qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or providing care to individuals with disabilities or other barriers.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Qualities: Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, such as assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Professionalism: Dependable, organized, and able to maintain confidentiality.
