Animal Care Needed - Full-time / Part-time

I want to get my cat (L. S.) shaved, but I don't want it to be too close to his skin. I'm not particular with what he looks like, it's a comfort thing... He is an older cat. He's really sweet, but he's just started having a little pain in his back legs or hips. He's kind of weird around his tail too and it's ok to skip the tail.
