Vascular Sonographer position available in Grass Valley, California. Job Details
- Location: Grass Valley, California
- Shift: 8 hours days, call required, every other weekend, rotating with core staff
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Vascular (RVT) certification is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound. Active license to submit.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level 2 Trauma, Epic EMR system, and previous travel experience.
- Common Types of Imaging/Studies and Job Duties: OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts, carotid arteries, DVT studies, renal arteries, parathyroid, thoracic, biopsies.
- Department Equipment: GE L8 and L9 ultrasound machines.
- Patient Volume: Approximately 10 scans or studies per day.
- EMR & PACS: McKesson, Cerner, Vrad software and hardware.
- Additional Information: This position involves rotating to outpatient areas as needed, with a focus on vascular ultrasound procedures. The organization utilizes Cerner charting system and maintains clinical protocols including COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
