Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday to Friday schedule, facility may consider 5x8 shifts Monday to Friday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Call rotation required with response time within 30 minutes
• Perform approximately 40 ultrasound exams per day across 3 rooms/beds
• Work with patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience required
• Graduate of an Ultrasound/Sonography program required
• Arkansas Radiology license in good standing required
• ARDMS, ARRT, and current CPR certifications required
• Must perform sonography exams in various locations including department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics
• Must handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure
• Special procedures include ultrasound guided breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• 3 hours of orientation provided
• Work with Siemens ultrasound equipment with appropriate transducers
• Average daily census of 350 within Radiology department
